Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. And then he’d made her doubt that trust, cutting her deeply. But as she’d once told him, she was damaged, not broken. She is ready to fight and not just for survival. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him

Amy’s life is once again turned on its head as she struggles to trust and survive in a world where nothing is as it seems, and no one can keep her safe. As events lead Amy and Liam back to one another, unforeseen circumstances arise. But in Amy’s quest for the truth about the reasons her life as she knew it was destroyed, new threats and new fears will threaten to stand in her way.

I have to say that I was completely enamoured with Escaping Reality, and admired Amy’s strength and determination to get her life back. Infinite Possibilities catapults the reader right back into this incredibly intense and enigmatic story, as Amy is still struggling to keep her head above water and is now reeling with heartbreak over Liam.

Once again Lisa Renee Jones maintains the integrity of these characters, if anything they are just as intense and just as passionate about each other and finding the truth as they were last time.

Liam Stone is my weakness. That is all there is to it. What I absolutely loved however was that the heartbreaking and incredibly tumultuous events within this book brought out such a tender and vulnerable side to this strong, dominating and incredibly enigmatic man. His intense love for Amy was displayed as was his pure, untainted need to have her. And the contrasts of his dominant and vulnerable sides were exemplified brilliantly.

“What do I have to do to convince you I’m the one you run to, not away from? Tell me and I’ll do it.”

His hand slips under my backside, cradling my body. “I’m the one who’s scared,” he whispers, stroking my cheek, dragging his fingers down my neck again, caressing my shoulder, and then cradling my breast in his palm. “I can’t lose you.”

Another element I absolutely loved within Infinite Possibilities was that the reader gains a little more insight into Amy’s (or Lara’s) gorgeous brother Chad. We learn more about the selflessness of his character and are reintroduced to some other interesting and very familiar faces that will both shock and keep you on edge.

Much like book 1, Lisa Renee Jones takes the reader on a suspenseful, yet seductive journey that progresses slowly. Not too much information is ever divulged, just the bare minimum to keep you completely on your toes and frantically turning the page. But all of a sudden, within the 85-90% mark, the pace escalates as secrets are plot twists are revealed. And some of them completely slap you in the face, while others appear slightly predictable. While I loved every bit of suspense that was offered to me yet again in this incredible story of survival, the discovery of love and the events that lead two very lost souls together, I wish more of the questions I had were answered instead of a whole bucket load more raised – and with one slightly gripping cliff hanger.

Nonetheless, Lisa Renee Jones is a brilliant author of seductive love stories that perfectly entwine heartbreaking suspense, and I cannot wait to see what she has next for these characters.
